Hello. Do the new Marlin Cowboys in .45 Colt come with checkering?

I have a GG in 45-70 and a 1894 .44 Magnum, both with the nice
checkering.

What is a good price for the .45 Colt Cowboy?

I believe all the cowboys come without checkering now. But if you look hard enough you might find a checkered one that hasn't been bought yet. I got a checkered one about 3 yrs ago, just traded it off. I paid $419 for mine, but that is on the low side. Most i have seen are priced around $500.

I got one as soon as they came out and mine has checkering and a 24" barrel. I think I paid around $500 for it. It is a super accurate rifle and I love the 24" barrel.

You can find em with checkering, and the good news is, since most CAS shooters want the plain wood, the checkered ones sell cheaper.

A couple mos back I found one, 2001 manufacture, NIB for $500. Check the broker sites. I think the one I found was on guns america. Dealer in the midwest, he had a few. It has great wood too, BTW.
