I own a new 1895 in 45-70 and have recently become interested in using black powder. From what ive seen I need a 2F powder (not substitute black powder), black powder lube and cleaner for my barrel. Clean about every 5 to 10 shots. I will be using 405gr black powder bullets from Missouri until i cast my own.

I wouldn't mind advice on using black powder. GOEX ffg is what i can find here in Canada right now so any links to places where to get black powder relodaing components would also be appreciated.
