Steve, thanks! Went to the rifle range today and practiced at 100yds (1895G). Not a bad rifle. Quite a kick to her. Just have iron sights for now. Wanted a good bear rifle with iron sights for our trips into the back country out west. After today though, for deer season here in Indiana, I know I'll need a scope from 100-200 yards. If I want to use her as a deer rifle, I'll have to get the Ghost Sights with a rail for scope. -Mike

If you want to use it for deer here in the hoosier state you'll need to load up some custom short brass. Less than 1.625 I think. They were going to lengthen the case requirement but I dont know if it passed with the new deer regulations or not.

Mike,
That sounds like the set up I would use if I had shots out that far! Since where I hunt it isn't practicle to shoot out near that far I have mine set up with an XS ghost ring sight set and a scout mount & scout scope.

What ??? That sounds ridiculous! At least you can use it still I guess..... we're still a shotgun / ML only state here!

I've never bought any 'cause I load my own, but don't the Hornady LE's have a shorter case?

Thanks six_gunz for the link,
I could not find my original manual, so I printed one out. When I was putting it way in my filing cabinet guess what I found? Yep, I have two now, again thanks, as now I at least know where the original has been placed.
