Nice Shape BO serial number JM stamped 45/70. This is a shooter...had curved wood butt cut off and recoil pad installed. Has fire front sight, Williams peep rear and an XS scope rail.

Not sure about value...but I have $525 into it and would like to get that.

Shipping $25 to FFL with US Postal money order received.

First Post "I'll take it" wins the sale.

For those who don't know...The BO's were considered the first "modern" 45/70's that Marlin made. The actions were improved to accept full power loads...and trust me...this gun has been tested. LOL. Shooting 405 grain hard cast at 1,700 fps.

And my preference...they have the straight stock. Like the the guide guns. 22" barrel gives good accuracy and velocity. And no, it doesn't kick at all. LOL.

LOP is 13.75".
