If I have a Topper .410 guage with the 3" chamber, serial # NN 25XXXX. Could I shoot the 45 colt through this barrel?

NO!! It's not a 45/410, it's a 410, big difference, the H&R 45/410 Survivor has a rifled bore made for .452" bullets, your Topper 410 has a .410" bore, if you try to shoot a .452" bullet down the .410" bore, bad things may happen, don't do it.

Yes,after reading the don't do it post: I figure that would be some more of a video!! That's the reason I asked though.

How about a 45LC barrel with the chamber lenghtened and then shoot .410's

Not too sure if it will work but think it will...Taurus has the "Judge" pistol and rifle, andthey fire both. Not sure what the bore of those guns are but figure a rifle that will hande the pressures that a "Handi-rifle" will should handle the .410 with ease. The ony other issue to consider would be the extra length of the chamber before the 45LC bullet gets to the lands and grooves. How much leading will occur and if "Ruger only" amo would work ok. Also how much accuracy will suffer if any.
