Good evening to all, I'm fairly new here, been lurking for a few months reading anything and everything. I can't believe the wealth of imfo to be found here. I have owned a few marlins over the years mostly pre saftey. After finally getting a new marlin " 1895 GBL " the first thing I did was loose the cross bolt safety. Never thought I'd own one with a cross bolt safety! I got a good deal on a late 90s 39as and my question is this can the safety on the 39 be replaced with one of Mr Ludwig's replacement kits ?
