OK......It's been a journey of 2 39As. Both are new production within the last 3 years. One is brand new and it has zero problems. The other is about 3 years old and had several problems.......all fixed except a failure to feed. Here are the things that have been replaced or repaired:
Guide spring-replaced
Outer tube-replaced
Inner tube-replaced
Extracter- Replaced with Wisners after market (works great)
Ejector- was loose and was tightened
All of the above done by 3 different gunsmiths and all but one claimed problem resolved. I did notice that the inner tube on this one is much harder to push in. I traded inner tubes today and same thing.
I went to the range today to test with new extracter and every 3-5th round does not feed from tube to chamber. ..takes 3-6 cranks on the lever. What now?
