Hi
My first post from the UK. I'm looking to buy a Marlin 39A to go with my 1984. They're not that common to buy over here and looking online I noticed on this gun that the back of the bolt is not smooth with the rest of the receiver. Is this significant. Should this one go in the reject pile?:hmmmm:

Thanks

Out of 15 Marlin 39A's that my wife and I have there is only a few with the receiver and the bolt matched really well. Buy it. It is fine the way it fits. Shoot it and enjoy a great fire arm.

I'd buy it and then start trying to wear it out by having fun shooting it! Lol. Good luck and happy shootin!

Agree with above, this is fairly common and does not effect function.
