I have a '64 Golden Mountie with the original MicroVue scope. The elevation adjustment does not work. Is there somewhere to get it repaired?

Probably, but I don't know where.A lot of the 3/4" scopes of that era (made in Japan)internals were epoxied togather and have to be destroyed to disassemble.Early Micro-Vue I think were made by Weaver in USA,later ones in Japan.I see Marlin scopes frequently on Ebay for under $30.00

I'm glad to see you want to keep your 39 original 8)

I'm not sure Marlin scopes were made by Weaver. I don't think they were.
But just in case they were, this may be a place to try .....

I think for the price of a refurbishment, I would probably take mudpuppys advise and simply try to replace it off ebay for about half the cost of the repairs.
