I load my cast 158's to 1.470", but that's because I crimp in the cast-in crimp groove.

According to Hornady's manual, for the Hornady swaged 158grn bullet, they seat it to 1.455". They don't give GreenDot loads.

The only GreenDot loading I can find is out of my Lee book... 3.2grn-3.5grn, so you are in the right ballpark.

Hi Charlie 98
Thanks for the info ..
My two Marlins arrive in about 4 weeks when I get my licence back one is .22 and other 38/357.
Club rules you cannot use hand loaded ammo on in club guns .
so I will have to wait ..
I have some VV N320 which I am saving for .357 158 FNJ once I have mastered .38 sp
