Can't find any 38-55 data using H4227. Will be loading 245gr LRNFPs.

24-27.5 grains IMR 4227. H 4227 should be close enough for the staring load to be safe.

Yeah, but why work up a load for a propellant that will shortly be "unobtanum"?

Hodgdon's is discontinuing H-4227

You have to remember that MM is an Aussie and Australia is where many Hodgdon powders originate (with different nomenclatures). H may quit selling the powder, but that doesn't mean it won't be available there.

Or he may have several pounds of it, as I do, and, at about 250 shots to the pound, it'll last him a good long time. Whatever difference there may be between H 4227 and IMR 4227 is minimal, and a very little bit of testing should reproduce a load in the other version.
