Has anyone ran a 38-55 case up into a 35 remington sizer die a short distance to make a neck similar to the 30 30 case, only this would be .35 caliber ?
Maybe some of the old timers has already tried it. Any thoughts ?

According to "Cartridges of the World", the 35/30-30 originated 100 years ago! Back in the 1970s, a gunsmith named Paul Marquart in Arizona built a bunch of them based on the Remington 788 action.

Thank You

Thank you Roundsworth, that is the info I was looking for. The 30 30 case necked up to 35 would be the same as necking down a 38 55 case to 35 since the 30 30 originated by necking down a 38 55 case.
I found info on the cartridge by running a search on Paul Marquart.
