[Missouri Marlin]

I just picked up a nice 375 Marlin yesterday. It's really clean but has a few dings from use. Overall it's a really nice rifle.

Very nice! The 375 is a powerful stop em in their tracks caliber. I have Win 94 in 375 and luckily about 4-5 boxes of factory ammo. That thing kicks like a mule in that petite 94 frame!

I love hunting and carrying mine. I sometimes wish I could just use the factory sights or at least peep sights but my eyes demand optics so mine is scoped with a 2-7x Leupold shotgun scope with the heavy duplex reticle. It's set in Burris Z rings on Warne bases giving a low set up with very clean lines. I've only taken one buck with mine but hope to rectify that in coming seasons. Sometimes it's almost impossible to pick which Marlin to hunt with on a given day.
Enjoy your new "toy" and let us know how she shoots! And if you aren't a reloader you best become one if you intend to shoot the 375Winchester more than just enough to check your zero each Fall and then a buck or two each season.

You will love it, as i love mine! As mentioned, that .375 caliber is a stop-'em-in-their-tracks round. Mine has Skinner sights, but i also understand those whose vision isn't what it used to be. Enjoy your new treasure!!

I'm having a rebore to 375 win being done now. I have bought starline brass, dies, final crimp dies and bullets in preparation for mine. Shouldn't be a problem. would not want to buy factory ammo if it could be found. Not starting to reload until I have the rifle in hand to make sure everything fits.

I have a pre-safety Marlin .375 that I bought new . I think it is a good caliber with enough power , not too much recoil and light weight enough to be nice to carry. See if you can find some Reloader 7 powder.

I have probably seen about 10-13 guns in 375W over the years, and every one
of them has been a 1980 model....

I just got to ask...... What Year???
