Have run across a load for 375 Win in the first Accurate Powders Manual showing MAX load of
40 grains of 1680 behind a 200 Sierra FP giving 2512fps out of a 24" barrel. CUP listed as 41,500.
Also shows 38 grains (MAX) of 1680 behind 220 Hornady FP (my preferred bullet) giving 2372 fps @ CUP of 44,800.
These loads seem too good to be true and just wondering if anyone has actual experience with this
powder in the 375. It is my"go-to" powder for .454 Casull hunting loads, so I have some on hand.
Starting loads are 10% lower, which is where I would start.

I played with is some, not enough to settle on a load for all my rifles. My 38-55 CB shoots most loads good to very good. The M 375 is picky, but seems to like the A 1680 as good as any powder. I had 220 Hornady and 200 gr Seirra's. The Hornady shot better with all powders tried. The 1680 is the speed king for any of the powders listed for the 375, seemed to warm the barrel faster than other powders. It's a powder I am gonna keep playing with when I have time for some more reloading and shooting. DP
