Thought i was getting a 30-30, but when i looked later i think it is a 36rc 32 special. Is it bad that i got this over a 30-30? The serial # is 91xx and there is no letter next to it. How can i find out what year it was made? When i put it in the serial look up it says it was made in 1800s but i know thats not possible. Any information would be appreciated! I paid 250...how did i do?

Except for the ammo situation I think you did great. Lots of people have 30-30 rifles near me. Not many .32's

WGF; Welcome to Marlin Owners. You did great on the 36 in 32WS. A much rarer gun in that caliber.

All in all I'd say you done good! I've got four .32 Winchester Specials and they are all special to me. They shoot cast bullets nicely and hammer deer nicely also. Been shooting .32 Win
Specials for 48 years now. First center fire rifle I ever shot, and first deer killed with one too. The .32 Special has been killing deer for 110 years now. Good luck with yours!
