I can get a good deal on the Remington ammo - not so easy these days
some questions...

1. Velocity from your 1894

2. Accuracy at 100 yard

3. Performance on game (bambi and piggies)...

This is the newer ammo 180 gr SJHP R357M10 - I think, Remigton changed the bullet design from the waved jacket to a straight line apearance.:questionmark::hmmmm:

hopefully you understand what I try to explain...

Thanks alot

Usually one can add 300-400 fps to a revolver round shot through a rifle. This would mean 1450-1550 fps from your rifle.

Accuracy has no straight answer. Depends on the ability of the shooter and more importantly if your rifle likes the stuff. Yes, rifles do have a preference on what they like. If everything comes together then I would expect 2-3 inches at 100 yards. Could be better or could be worse.

Thanks Gohon for your answer, seems like there are not many users of this round...

I saw some at Dicks Sporting today it was 158gr UMC crap.
I tend to dislike that ammo in anything I shoot. It's dirty and in 45 ACP it always hits me in the face
when it ejects! Revolvers don't eject so you have that in your favor.
