Hello: This is my first post although I've been reading here for awhile,By that I know I've come to the right place for help.
My ? (or 2 ???).Today I got a good buy (I hope ) in a 35rem,This is the 1st for me although I do have a 336 in a 30/30, Was wondering how to tell the age of it? The 30/30 its a cs,But on the 35rem it does not have any letters on it,So I was wondering what the diff-is?.The 35rem is an older gun,But is in good shape.
The 35 also don't have the safety on the rec- like my 30/30 has.

What are the first 2 digits of the serial number? You can tell by that.

The other was born in 1993.
