A few months ago I picked up a 35 rem/444 marlin handi. Well thanks to Petmi who planted the seed. I rented a 358 win reamer from 4d reamer rentals last week. The reamer arrived today, and in about 45 min, I was shooting some 200 gr hornady sp out of my new 358 win. I had to do a little filing on the extractor to get the fatter case to load/eject smoothly, but nothing too difficult. The whole rental cost me $49.00 for the reamer rental and the go/no-go gages. Now that I know how easy.....what's next ?????? 35/348 :hmmmm::biggrin:

45-70 to 45-120.

I rechambered a H&R Buffalo Classic 32" 45-70 to 45-120 a few years ago. Poor man's 458 WM. Lots of fun with 40k psi smokeless loads, but you have to replace the stock as the steel curved buttplate will destroy your shoulder with a hot load.

Congrats on your new 35-308.
