Went to the range yesterday and shot my new 336C from a Caldwell "Rock" rest and rear sandbag....was using 200 gr. Hornady Lever Evolution ammo...50 yds, and open sights...very pleased with 1" groups! That was with a good crosswind and my poor eyesight!
Welcome to MO! Good shootin'. All reports so far (with a very few exceptions) show the LEVERevolution ammo to be quite accurate in a wide variety of Marlin models.
I haven't shot the 35 Rem. stuff yet, but my 30-30 sure likes it. And if I can find it before hunting season rolls around, the .444 Marlin version will be in my rifle for elk in October.
