I've seen the Remington 250RN in pictures but not on any ammo shelves of local shops i frequent...I hope they are still going to produce it and maybe even expand the line...a 185gr and a 225 maybe?
So far, yes. Brass and bullets are readily available. I have 200 empty cases, and 300 bullets at the moment.rhendrix said:Is the Hornady LE the only factory ammo you can buy for the Marlin MX?

I am wanting to get one but I would like to know that ammo is available and that components are available if I decide to reload for it.
Really? Let us know how they shoot.Wes said:I just got a notice from Able Ammo that the long awaited 250 grain Remington factory loads were in. I ordered two boxes, but they were expensive ($26). I figure these will ride in the 338MX on pack trips in bear country. We'll see how they shoot.
I have 1 box of unprimed hornady 338 brass that is back ordered with Cabela since 2/20/11. The other 2 boxes I got from Midsouth at $32.33 each. The boxes of FTX 200 bullets I got from Natchez at $35.24. Yep ended up paying premium price but at least I got a few boxes of each.rhendrix said:Is brass and bullets readily available for the Marlin MX?
