When I use the receiver and forearm to scale the pictures on MarlinFireams.com, the stock on the 336BL is notably shorter than the one on the 336 Deluxe (both have capped forearms for easy comparison.) In fact, scaling a 336Y to match (harder to do without a listing on their website), it appears to be about the same length on the bottom half, but top half of the the BL stock angles back more. Anyone with a 336BL have some other current models to compare with?

Not sure how LOP is measured when the butt end isn't flat, but it seems like it would at least be an effectively similar LOP to the 336Y.

Interesting. It looked to be ~3/4" shorter, using 6 different points to get scaling right. Any chance that the Deluxe model has a longer LOP?

Thanks for posting yours.
