Found this on Arms List where I never venture. Turned out to be a good bona fide seller and the price was superb so I jumped all over it. Never saw this scope mount set up or the scope. Kind of interesting in that the Williams peep is perfectly visible under the scope and the waffletop is totally unmolested and so is the bullseye. Can't wait to crank it up and see how it shoots. Of course now I have to sell something but that has not been a problem for some time now. May even sell what is now an extra Marlin .35. Gotta see how this shoots first. With that 24 inch barrel I am anxious to put some over top of the chronograph. Enjoy. I am not much of a photographer.

Sometimes you just feel like you have been blessed by being in the right place at the right time.

Very nice 336A! Especially since that rifle was made during the first year that Marlin offered rifles in 35 Rem!

I am betting that will shoot really well. That set up is a pretty good hunting rig if you get the peep and the scope zeroed in.

That is two years older than mine. The 336A is my absolute favorite model. Congrats.

I have had one for a few years now but with a "molested" waffle top. Came with a cheap bubble pack type 3X9 scope. Been a good rifle.
IMG_0037.jpg Permit doe taken that year, got it in 2011 and paid about 400+ for it. Expensive at the time but i have not seen a 35 for sale in my area since and especially not one like this one. Well worth it for me.
