I saw a 335.....(mistype looks good for the 35 rem 336s?)...336 youth model 30-30 and it feels pretty good in the shoulder. Will Marlin make these in a 35 rem?

Youth model............Different stock. If you get a 336 in 35 Remington full size if you will. Just change the stock.

Did some research on the Y vs. the reg and the overall length is about 5 inches shorter with the barrel length being about 3.76 inches shorter. However, you lose 1 cartridge capacity. No 35Rs.........

How small is the person that your looking for the youth 336?

When my son turned 12 I bought him a 336 SS "stainless steel" 30-30 and he had no problem using the rifle,he is still using it and he's 23 now.

He was pretty skinny and small when he was 12.

If you know anyone with a regular size 336 maybe you could take him or her out a see how it works for them.

The youth has a 16.25 inch barrel as well as the short stock.

The 1951 32 special I purchased recently had the stock cut off quite a bit. I replaced it with a full size one later. Evidently there are other ways.
