I am looking for a straight grip stock for my .35 Rem. 336. Anyone have one for sale or can point me in the right direction? It is an older, pre-safety gun....

What I did is found an old 30-30 with strait stock and switched wood and trigger group. I paid less than $400 for the pair. Now the 30-30 has a pistol grip and the .35 rem has a strait stock. Then I sold the 30-30 for $200.

Ridgrunner,

I like those old straight grips too. They just have a look and feel that is old west.

Reid,

Nothing wrong with the way you manufactured a straight grip .35, heck, I like it. I was a lot less innovative, I bought one of '57 vintage for about $250 about 3 years ago.

You can find them on the auction sites now and then. I have seen them go for 250 to 350.
