How does a person remove the butt stock of a 1952 336 RC. I tried to take one bolt out and slide the stock out but with no luck. Do not want to pull to hard for fear of damaging stock. Thanks

I think that one bolt is it.

Maybe if someone with more knowledge of the older ones will comment?

If it has never been off before it may be a bit hard to break loose. I took one off a '76 that once it moved it came on off.

One screw going down behind hammer on top tang. Have someone hold by barrel and receiver on one end, you pull straight off at angle of tangs on other.

If I get one that's stuck I lightly bump it with a rubber mallet around the tang area while pulling. Has always worked for me.

It'll be pretty stuck if it hasn't been taken off for a while, I know my '50 was. The light bump with a rubber mallet is a good idea, just don't go at it too hard.
