I remember a thread many moons ago about "Improving" the 32 Special. I am wondering if that was actually ever done and how did that turn out?

I am slightly interested in doing that.

What, like a "32 special Ackley improved"?? I don't know if there is such a critter but there certainly were a bunch of other calibers he "improved".

Ackley Improved has become kind of a generic term for cartridges where the taper of the case is blown out to give minimal taper, and the shoulder is moved to forty degrees.
