Anyone currently loading for this?

I've been looking at the reloading books in anticipation of getting my 32 Cowboy. I've got dies and brass and some 85 grain XTP's. I plan on getting some lead bullets also.

Looks like Lil'Gun by Hodgdon is the best choice for velocity.

Any thoughts or good load combinations?

I thought I might get more responses than this. I realize that the 32 H&R rifles are not available yet, but I thought I'd hear from some Ruger Black Hawk 32 shooters and what they are loading.

I've bought some Hornady 85 Grain XTP's I'm hoping to try out on groundhogs and plan to get some 90 grain lead bullets from National Bullet Co. for the range and plinking.

Martin, good thought, but too early. One of the reasons that there have been so few responses is that no one knows just what the Marlin .32 H&R barrels will actually measure. Specs for the .32 H&R call for a larger groove diameter, I think .311 or .312. If Marlin actually makes them that diameter, .308 bullets won't work worth a whoop. If Marlin uses a .308 groove diameter, those bullets will work and cast sized .311 or .312 will also work.
