I've been looking at the hornady 100gr XTP loads in my 32-20. Since it's so enjoyable to shoot I would like broaden its horizons a little. Anyone with experience with these much faster loads?

I've tried the 85 and 100 grain flavors in my CL and it shoots them like they're laser-guided. I see no sense in EVER trying any other bullets, those XTP's shoot better than I can hold, even off a bench. I've never seen an 1894 in any caliber that didn't shoot XTP's well, it's like they were designed for them.

That's good news PJ! I nabbed a couple boxes while I was in grafs the the other day with high hopes. The book shows some pretty stiff loads and I wouldn't mind giving them a try. I'm really enjoying this rifle a lot more than I expected. I don't see it staying at home any time soon.

Whythankya I would be obliged if you took that stuff elsewhere.
