Did a little spot and stalk hunting in a creek bottom the other day here in West Texas. We are currently in the worst drought ever recorded here and water is scarce, so I figured the hogs would be holed up around water. About 8:30 in the evening it was still over 100 degrees out. The skeeter's were out with a vengeance and I was about to call it quits when I spotted 3 pigs standing in the middle of the creek.

The Marlin MXLR 308X cooled one of them off nicely.

Very nice and you took a young sow out of the breeding pool. She looks to be just the right eating size ;).

If you are indeed mad at the cows, how did you feel about the pig ::)

Looks like the 308MX(LR) strikes again - good shoot'n ;D
