I know the cannalure is in the wrong spot for the 444 but I have used them in the past. I just crimp them at max C.O.A.L. and they were incredibly accurate. Anyone use these at all?
I bought these bullets quite some time ago. They were being pushed back and forward on my reloading bench. I really have no reason to load 300 gr. bullets of any brand because HDY. 265gr. can take care of anything in north America.mt_sourdough said:Is that a 44 cal 300 gr Remington bullet? I did not know that such a critter exists.
I have no idea if Rem. sells 300 gr. HP 44. cal still. I bought these from midwayusa in their own packages under a rename of "Reme". It's to bad we can get .430", 300 gr. HP. Remington anymore because it's a nice option for the 444 cartridge the cannelure is in the right place.WyoStillhunter said:Sure looks like 44 cal. holes in the targets. I also was unaware of a Remington 300 gr. bullet for the .444.
