In the 2005 Wincheater catalog and on their web page, they are showing a 94 in 25-35 with an octagon barrel :D If they actually make it my local dealer was saying my cost would be about $625 :!: I might actually have to see one of these. Don't believe I've bought a Winchester in over 10 years .

I have the new Winchester catalog and it also has the 38/55 listed. And with 20" round or 26" in round or octagon.
And in the new Marlin catalog their is no 38/55 Cowboy!!

Alredy have a 38-55 in a 336 Cowboy , but I sure wish they'd make it in a 32-40. The 25-35 Winchester would be great , but I'd rather have it in a Marlin . Also Marlin is coming back out with the 1894CL in 32-20 this year :!: Think I'll have to have one if they ever hit the market :?

Saw one at the Puyallup Show last Sat. They wanted 725, if I recall correctly (and I might not be  )

Tubby , even though I bought an 1894CCL in 32-20 last year , now that I have seen Marlin is coming out with the 1894CL in 32-20. I would rather have that over Winchesters 25-35 :D Only thing is I noticed the Marlin is supposed to have Micro-Groove instead of Ballerd rifling. Not exactly what I wanted to here :?
