I know this is the Marlin forum but I also know you guys are the best source of info on rimfires now the question, I have received a Winchester model 270 pump in excellent condition has the fancy carved stock and for-grip. I am considering selling it and can't find much on the value of this gun anybody know what a fair asking price may be.

Thanks for the help.

Do a search for it on gunbroker.com and see what they are asking. ;)

I have a Model 270 that was left to me by my dad ... so mine is priceless and can't be bought for any price. I have seen them at gunshows for around $250-$275 but none have been in very good shape. Here is mine ... almost like new ...

The current Bluebook says a 100% specimen would bring $175. But I believe that a good one would bring more like $200. There was one at a local auction here and it seems to me it went for about $200.

These are not that common. If you have a nice one, and somebody's looking for one...
