I very seldom shoot rimfire, I like to cast and load as much as I like to shoot so CF rules. However, I came across this recently. Looks new but no box or accouterments. I used one back when they first came out and liked it, 1957. This beauty is a 1958, 2nd year production and looks new. Colt Scout, price seemed reasonable so it came home with me. I haven't fired it......yet.

I got my brothers... they are fun to shoot. You got the 22 mag cylinder for it too.

I can remember like it was yesterday...
My Dad had one like that with a long barrel.
Was one of the first guns I ever shot as a kid.
It was a lot of fun skipping a can around with it.
Not many guns as fun as a 22 in a good pistol.
One of those and a spinner target is pretty addicting.

I like the vintage 22 boxes. Brings back memories.
To true when I was in BSA we had a rifle team,I think we were paying $6.00 a brick for super x match, that was a few yrs ago. Very nice Colt, you did good...
