Wondering if others may be shooting these. I've cast a couple K of these using the RCBS for my .35 Rem and some of them cast a bit smaller than I wanted, so just thinking about sizing them to .358 and trying them in my 1894 which slugs at .356. Still experimenting with various 158gr bullets and powders without complete satisfaction.
Any thoughts?

I think the first step might be to load one dummy round to see if it will chamber in your 1894. Overall lenght and nose profile could be an issue. IIRC the 187gr Cast Performance wouldn't cycle through my 1894. Just a thought.

Given the longer bullet size you may have to load them in .38 cases, which presents it's own challenges. Or you could modify your carrier to accept the longer cartridge. It's an easy mod and may be easier than trying to find load data that will get the performance you want with the smaller cases. I really don't know.
