Just picked up a Waffle Top. There are no numbers etched on the bottom of the bolt. Are there supposed to be? Should I be concerned? Otherwise, in very good condition. Have not shot it yet. Thanks ....

I've seen Marlins with no numbers on their bolts. To set your mind at ease I would have the headspace checked using headspace gages. We'd all like to see pictures of your find!
