Hey there El Toro -- Welcome to Marlin Owners. Is that the sailing pram or the lawn mower? I'd be a whole lot happier in the $450 bracket, but I haven't been in the market for awhile. Once I got my 1951 vintage rifle squared away it is a real sweetie. I think an older gun in good shape is a better deal than the new ones for sure. Here's a picture of my '51. Best regards. Wind

I guess it according to what part of the country your in, seems like they can be bought a little cheaper around here than they can in other parts of the country. $500 seems a little high to me. I got about $325 in this 1947 39a.

Don't know what you're looking at, but I wouldn't sell my '47 for $500. But then again it'll never be sold.

Best of luck!
