Hi All, I have a 1929 lever 410 that I inherited from my Grandfather via my Father. Long story short, it was stolen and missing for almost 30 years and by a series of coincidence I was able to recover it. It's in fairly good shape still, it loads and ejects well enough and the bore is very good. The wood is fair and the original finish is not too bad. Only problem is the action where the square bolt fits in the receiver is a little sloppy. As I don't ever plan on selling this shotgun and plan on leaving it to my son, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good smith that could restore it for me. I'm looking for a first rate job, not an inexpensive one, that is I would like it as new looking as possible. Patrick (Queequeg)

Now THAT'S a cool story to put on a plaque where the ol' girl rests. I'll bet it really feels good to hold the same gun your grandfather & father did.
Post where you're located so someone might be able to refer you to someone local.

I'd post a "like"...but I don't know how. :questionmark:
