1897 Texan !6" and a 1894 16" 357 cowboy limited

I have a chance today to buy a 1897 22 16 inch barreled marlin nib for $400 and a marlin 1894 357 mag 16" cowboy limited for $400 alsonib.I dont know what they look like .I guess marlin made them a year or so back need help quick to see if I want to buy them.

Paid well over $500 for my 1897T (Texan) hex barrel, pistol grip, no frills, take down - semi fancy wood. Get them both.

Even if I couldn't afford it, I'd try to jump on both of those.......Sweet!!! Especially the Texan.....Don't know why they stopped making that one as it's the one most seem to prefer.

Heard they made those from "left over" Annie Oakley parts - no frills - just fine rifles. I don't like gold and engraving on my rifles anyway - I'd never pay to have that stuff extra, even if I were rich.
