You might want to take a couple of minutes and read through all the posts concerning the GBL. They are still making them at the new plant under Remington control. So yes they are still making them...

Does anyone know if the Marlin 1895 GBL 45-70 is still being
made? I heard that Marlin has stopped manufacturing them.

Please take the time to read what has been posted on here regarding all the problems with the Marlin 91 and newer serial numbers. Look for a good used GG on gunbroker, etc., (many have only had a few to no rounds through them). Buy yourself a big loop lever and put it on there and volla! - you have well made 1895 GBL. Or you can take your chances with the Marlingtons.
