Hey guys, I got my hands on an 1895fg with original box. I am very excited, if my ammo would show up. But that's not the point, according to the serial number the gun was made in 05. I thought they were 02-03 productions. If anyone has any info please enlighten me.

That link is a sketchy on info for the FG, how many years were they in production and how many were produced?

I have a 2007 mfg. 1894fg. sn# 93xxxxxx I saw one with sn# 92xxxxxx on Gunbroker if it wasn't a miss print, unless there were some delayed and then finished at a later date. I don't know how they did the sn# to actual DOM on some models.

I am glad they did make them till late 2007 or I might not have one. It is my favorite rifle of all times to shoot and enjoy. My 39a, and 1894cl 218 bee come in a close 2nd place tie.
