I have an opportunity to but a LNIB 1894 carbine in 44 mag. It has straight stock, slim foreartm, octagon barrel, no crossbolt safety, 98% condition on wood and metal, has had an action job so the lever can be worked with one finger. Value? Aproximate year of manufacture? Any comments?

Need the first two digits of the serial number to tell year of manufacture.

20" or 24" barrel?

What are they asking?

As I said, it's a carbine, which has the shorter 20" barrel than the 24" rifle barrel. I'm asking what I should offer for it. I don't know what the serial number starts with.
