At least thats what it would be if it was a Winchester !!! Its a 1893,30-30, half octagon 22" barrel, 1/2 magazine, shotgun butt, with hard rubber buttplate s/n 211629. nice little light weight rifle !! ;D Don
Wishbone, I really don't know if its rare or not! i know i don't see many early rifles with the hard rubber buttplate, shotgun butt. i dont remember where i got this one ,i've had it for many years. Don
I would think a 22" barrel would be scarce. In the Model 93 the "A" series all had 20" barrels save a couple. This included carbines but many rifles some with 1/2 octagon barrels and magazines.
