Has anyone used these in their 1894s? I saw some at the gunshop today and thought about running them in my rifle but decided to post the question first.

I tried a box of 20 last week.
They fed perfectly and grouped well.
I like them and will buy more.

I have not used the Federal offering, but I have shot 3 different 180 grain hard cast, gas checked 180 grain RNFP bullets with nearly identical profiles. The 3 bullets came from 3 different Cast Boolit Forums group buys. All were uniformly excellent from my rifle.

I have recently been testing some 180 gr. RNFP Dardas lead bullets (see MO sponsors) in my 1894 .44mag., and they are fine in the 1700 to 1950 FPS range with more velocity to spare. I plan on slowing them down to about 1600 for plinking.

On another note, I just ordered some 180 and 185 gr. for my 1894c from Beartooth bullets. A little on the heavy side maybe. Haven't received them yet, but I like the way they are shaped. I'm having a little trouble finding loading data for this weight in .357. I might have to start from scratch.

Oh, I forgot to mention they were .357s.

The 3 I've used all went into .357 cases and were all driven hard with 2400, H110 and Lil' Gun.
