This photo is from a 8pt. I shot this year. This is the entrance wound. I shot it on its left side where his neck meets his body. Deer droped immediately...not even a twitch. It opened up quickly as you can tell from the photo kinda like a Hornady xtp. Bullet stoped just under the off side hide. Bullet pic will come in the next day or two...until then enjoy.

I have a few boxes of that load that I got some years back. It is very accurate out of my rifle but the price on Fusion ammo has really gone up lately. I think I paid around $12-15/bx when I got it. I currently hunt with Hornady SST loads but am glad the Fusions worked so well. ;)

Yep - Dead Deer.

I've read nothing but good reports on the Federal Fusion ammo.

BUT, somehow I just can't get myself over idea of a copper platted bullet in a centerfire rifle???
