Colt revolvers are fairly common in the U.K. Colts London Factory and Agency to thank for that. Allegedly there were more “private purchase” 1851 Navy’s in British military service than with anyone else. And the 4 3/4” barrelled SAA came about at the behest of the London agency according to the correspondence detailed in C.Kenneth Moore’s book!
