    Hi all, I am new to the forum, and will hopefully soon be the owner of a new-to-me (or new) marlin 336. I went in to a local pawn shop today to look for a 336 and they happened to have a JM stamped 336CS. The serial number begins 08XXX so I believe the gun to have been manufactured in 1992...
