  1. 32-40 38-55/375 & Other Non Standard Caliber
I have both a marlin 1893 chambered in 38-55 and a marlin 1894 chambered in 32-20. I am wondering if they are able to run modern ammo safely. I have saved all my casings from older ammunition that I have, but I know the least bit about reloading them. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Getting to the Extraction Point... Any operator will tell you that it's foolish to embark on a mission without a good plan for extraction once the objective has been accomplished. Similarly, it's foolish to design a firearm without serious consideration for the extractor, whose primary job is...

We recently completed work on a Marlin 44 Mag for a customer that included trigger and action work, an RPP medium loop lever, and shortening the barrel to 16" and threading it 9/16x24tpi. He was so happy with the rifle that he had Mr Revolver Guy at DayAtTheRange.com video review it with his...

Rookie kinda question. I've see "JM Stamped" or "JM Spur" a few times on this forum and seems to denote something special. What does the "JM" stand for, signify, and mean?

No doubt more than enough was written about the first magnum revolver cartridge--the mighty little .357--in the years following its introduction in 1934. The (now) wee beast kicked off a new arms race in handgun cartridges, but it ruled the roost for long enough to cement its place among the...

Dear MOF members, Like many of you here on this forum, we at RPP have been hopeful that Remington would put their considerable resources to work fixing quality issues with the Marlin rifles. We saw some fit improvement over the last year or so, and it seemed the future was looking up. But while...

While RPP is not the first to successfully convert an 1894 to run auto-pistol cartridges, it would seem we are one of only a handful of custom shops doing so. As the cowboys of the Old West proved, having a rifle and handgun chambered in the same cartridge is super convenient - carry one type...

I found one of the new STEEL FRAME "BIG BOY" Rifles from HENRY REPEATING ARMS at one of the LGS. This is a VERY nice rifle. Wood to metal fit is more than satisfactory, grain and color of wood is nice, checkering very clean and sharp, and the action is silky smooth. (really... almost...

I have just bought an 1897 css in 357, it feeds 38's fine but 357's will lock up the action with the bullet head still int the mag tube. On looking closely the timing of the action seems to be out, the carrier starts to rise before the round is out of the mag tube and locks up. My thought is...
