    So a lot of people mention that they use the Lee Factory Crimp Die in loading for 45/70. I can understand why some use it when they are seating a bullet at a depth other than the cannelure, but why would I do better with it than my regular RCBS seater/crimper on a bullet that has a cannelure...

    I've removed the locking nuts from my Redding ST die & turned it in 'till it stopped. Still no good crimp. Is the 1.0625" tool head thickness tooo much for Redding dies?
