The History - So a few years ago I was given a rifle. The rifle came from my father and was given to him by his father, my grandfather. I tell you this to stress the level of sentimental value that this gun has to me especially now that my grandfather isn't doing so good.
The Rifle - OK so...
Should I buy the 1894 Marlin (.357 mag) or the 336 Marlin (.30-30) - It would be for both hunting and self-defense. I can't seem to make up my mind?
Any opinions out there? Thanks.
