    You say its not much but don't sell your gun or yourself short. You built a gun you can be proud of and developed some new skills in the process. I started out in much the same way and now I can do virtually all my own gunsmithing including drilling, tapping, crowning, threading etc. The only thing I can't do yet is engraving but I plan to learn.

    NC Man - the rifle looks great! You must be a tall fellow with long arms to need all that length of pull. Caliber of this one? Count my vote as don't checker that walnut stock. Keep up the good work. Now you have to be on the lookout for a longer case to hold it in

    you did good! the last stock I finished I used minwax antique oil. I like it! it looks good and is so easy to use,,,,,,,,,,,,
    I have never harvested an animal but I have KILLED QUITE A FEW !

    I would rather have a gun in my hand than a cop on the phone,,,,,,,,,
